PRO ISSUE 8x42
What sets the Pro Issue apart is the super wide field of view that is crisp and color correct from edge to edge. Unlike any of other Nocs Provisions Optics, the Pro Issue’s prism is phase coated, which makes for an extremely bright and sharp image. The optics are broadband fully multi coated in our most premium formula, resulting in accurate color representation no matter the time of day. The Pro Issue was designed in tandem with our manufacturing partner, which is how we are able to provide optics that rival those that cost 2-3x the price. See it to believe it.
A 429 foot field of view (8x @1000yds) that is distortion free across the field. This provides a new level of peripheral vision to a binocular in this class. It’s as if the binocular housing simply disappears from sight while in use.
Multilayer phase-correction coatings applied to the Swiss-designed pentaprism (BaK4) surfaces ensure accurate image contrast and avoid unwanted interference effects and to maximize brightness and clarity from edge to edge.
With a close focus of less than 2M (6ft.), these binoculars fill the field with the closest details you see.
The large exit pupil (5.25) allows for brighter and clear imagery.
Comes with a hard carrying case.

-
Given as the first number in a binocular description, magnification is the ratio of the focal length of the objective, divided by the focal length of the eye piece.
A Magnification of 8 produces an image that is 8 times larger than the original seen from that distance.
-
Given as the second number in a binocular description.
The diameter of the Objective lens (lens closest to the Object you are looking at) determines how much light can be let in and the sharpness of the image. (this is sometimes referred to as aperture)An 8x40 (NOCS Pro) will let in much more light and display a higher resolution image than an 8x25 (NOCS Standard).
-
The Field of View of a pair of binoculars is inversely related to it magnification.
For all NOCS Binoculars, it is noted as a linear value in feet seen at 1,000 yards.

All NOCS lenses are Fully Multi-coated.

Every nocs Product is equip with a +/-3 Right Eye Diopter
The diopter takes the focusing process a step further and corrects the differences in the focus points between the two barrels, compensating for different eye strengths.
If more than one person is using the same pair of binoculars it is often nice to mark where your diopter setting is (to easily recalibrate)
-
Every binocular is made so that there is an ideal distance from your eye to the glass of the eyepiece. That distance is called eye relief. Each binocular has a particular eye relief, depending on the optical design.
NOCS accomodates for this by having twist out eye cups
Zoom Tube has 9mm
Standard Issue NOCS have a 10mm
Pro Editions has 12mm
-
Optical Prism enable the display of the image the right way up, with out needing many lenses. Because these prims bend/lengthen the ligth path this allows for the decreasing the overall length of the Binoculars
Poro Prism have objective lens tubes that are offset from the eyepieces; the prisms angle from the eyepieces to the objective lenses.
Roof Prism binoculars have two straight tubes, making them smaller and more compact.
ALL NOCS have BaK4 Roof Prisms
-
Binoculars concentrate the light gathered by the Objective Lens into a beam that enters your eye. This is called the Exit Pupil.
Exit pupil is calculated by dividing the Objective Diameter by the magnification power.
-
NOCS Standard and Pro Issues both have an IPX7 rating, which means that they can sit in 3ft of water for 30 minutes and still be ready to rally..
So if you get caught in a deluge, don’t worry about your NOCS, they are designed to handle it.
Zoom Tube has and IPX4 rating, designed to handle average rain.
-
All products are nitrogen filled with medical grade O-rings.. This means your NOCS will not fog up even if you are coming out of a cold car into the hot sun…
-
Inspired by the classic lines found where the sand dunes meet the ocean waves, the rubberized ridges on the NOCS serve two main purposes.
Extra secure grip, even in wet conditions
Shock dampening incase of a drop.
-
Binoculars are often used to look at items far away. But some times that bird you want to see in perched in a tree just feet away.
Not all Binoculars can focus on close items

ACTIVITIES / EXPLORATION
-
A magnification between 8x and 10x is generally recommended, although with a 8x, you're going to be able see a brighter image and -- in a flock of birds -- more individuals. Choose an aperture between 25 and 50 to get the greatest light capture and spot the prettiest colors on your black-throated green warbler. Anything bigger, and you'll have to rest your arms on something to keep the binoculars steady.
All of the NOCS Standard, Pro and Zoomtube models are designed to “Bird” perfectly
-
You may get caught up in the idea the the larger the Zoom the better, but anything above a 10x magnification will most likely require a mount and a spotting scope So while you can spend up to $1,700 on hunting binoculars, you will be much happier with a Pair of NOCS
-
Astronomy binoculars can rival telescopes in terms of magnification and aperture . These can be up to 30x100 to capture more light and make up for distance. But this will Cost and Arm and a Leg..
A safe bet for astronomy binoculars is at least a 7x magnification, and a 40 aperture.
Making the NOCS Pro editions the perfect choice for this activity
-
Many binoculars are really useful for spotting fish or other marine life. When looking for fishing binoculars, remember that ridiculously large magnification is going to be unhelpful.
